The Jensen Family
A walk down a country road, to take a family portrait, is my cup of tea. Alison and her sweet family walked with me as I snapped family portraits of them among tall reads of grass and silhouette of farm life in West Bountiful, Utah.
The lighting was a soft overcast evening until the sun decided to peek through the clouds and send its bright rays to their faces. Justin and Alison were great sports when I asked them to dash across the street to avoid blinding light in exchange for a stunning glow resting around Alison Winder Jensen stunning auburn hair.
Her little kids were curious and good sports as Mom, Dad, my assistant Claire, and I made silly faces and cartoon voices to try and evoke a smile or two. I love sweet innocent stares…and smiles. 
My favorite family portraits of her family were the last photographs I took near a lovely lane of blossoming pear trees. I love Spring and the whimsical and complimentary backdrops it lends to a beautiful family, the Jensens.
