Ruby and Scarlette are the next generation of Mary Cassatts, Coco Chanels, and Shirley Temples. They both bubble with artistic talent, sweet voices, pep in their step, and natural beauty. Scarlette will never be seen without the latest designer dress or skirt on. Ruby will never be found without a hug in her arms or a captivating story to tell. How could I not take them with me on a Sunday afternoon to capture their youthful glow and glam in a sister portrait session to remember?!
That day, we set off down the road and quickly stopped when we saw a beautiful blossoming tree in the neighbor’s front yard. Blossoms always compliment a cute gal with a denim jacket and a sister with tiger ears. There was even a stone bench for the two cuties to share as they sat, giggled, and posed for our portrait photography fun.
After I captured a few frames at our popcorn tree, we traveled to the local park and pond. The waterfront was the perfect set up for their portraits. Even in the bright noonday light, the girls sparkled against the water and sky. Who doesn’t love to walk up to a pair of white ducks at the pond and talk with them. The ducks were probably wondering when the girls were going to throw them a snack. I’m sorry to say we had nothing but curiosity and love for our feathered friends.
Ruby and Scarlette were such a delight to photograph. They knew exactly how to stand and which hip to pop. Their laughter and bright eyes filled my camera lens with joy along with the photographer herself.
Keep dancing, drawing, and dreaming, sweet gals. Love you to the stars and back!
