Best in the West
Bountiful Sweethearts pictures have to be the BEST in the WEST! Look at these cute cowboy couples! Dressed from head to toe with Stetsons, Levis, and Boot Scootin’ Boogies to Boot. It was time for Bountiful High’s Sweetheart Dance and these beautiful girls grabbed their dates and met me at Cross E Ranch to capture the moment.
Ready for anything, I had my couples up on a fence with their sweethearts, smiling and holding them close. Right off the bat I needed onlookers to shout out a joke or pull a face to start the smiles coming. And smiles came after a passerby shouted, “Hey aren’t you So & So’s ex-boyfriend?” LOL. Even though this was a little embarrassing, my group got a kick out of this bold statement and afterwards, the smiles kept coming.
The American Dream
Moving on to our next backdrop, these cute kids jumped up onto a big green tractor which was situated in front of a large American flag. How patriotic and perfect for this hometown group. The guys weren’t quite sure about the request to jump up and kick their heels for a shot. However, I gave them a few practice rounds and they were off, hooting and hollering with heels and hats flying. Ha, the ladies just stood and giggled and laughed as such acrobatics. They of course, played it cool and collected as they grouped up and tipped their hats to ‘The American Dream’.
Couples pictures were so fun! I brought my father’s old lasso and my grandfather’s real wool blanket to rope and wrap some cuties for couples pix. The Bountiful Sweethearts played along with my silly ideas but I think they really turned out fun. Who doesn’t want to hogtie a helpless young cowboy or snuggle with him in a warm wool blanket. Right!
I loved, loved, loved laughing and photographing this group of Bountiful and Woods Cross Sweethearts. A big thanks to Cross E Ranch for letting us kick around the farm to capture memorable sweetheart moments.
