If you ever need to look at an image to simply smile and want to be young again, look no further. These baptism portraits of Max a Million were an absolute treat to take. He was bright and chipper through our entire baptism portrait session. I met up with him, his mother, and sister at the Bountiful Utah LDS Temple in December. Even though the temperatures were a little chilly, this champ smiled with both his wiggly teeth and beautiful brown eyes. He was beaming with a radiant spirit.
After Deidra contacted me a week prior, pressed on time to get her son’s baptism portraits taken and printed, we set the quickest date possible. It was a beautiful overcast winter day. Max was dressed in one of the best looking suits I’d seen on an eight year old. A light blue jacket, navy slacks, and polka dot tie pared with beautiful lashes and grand slam smile sealed the deal. We were extra careful not to have him laugh too much so as to keep that front tooth from falling out. Wiggly teeth are some of the most anticipated yet worrisome characters to deal with on such an important day.
During our stroll along the Bountiful temple paths we chatted a bit. I found out that my little gent thinks baseball is his sport of choice. Star gazing is his evening sport of choice. Loving his mom and playing with his little sister are his all time favorite pastimes. Little sister even tried to tickle big brother Max for a few extra laughs on camera.
A Happy Place
These baptism portraits of Max a Million really made my day. I was in a beautiful setting surrounded by incredible architecture. The stained glass windows, auburn trees to match Max’s chestnut hair as well as the spirit of family and Christ’s love were tangible.
Happy 8th Birthday, Max. Thank you for letting me take part in capturing a very special time in your life.
